Seriously? That's a law?

So, yesterday before class, I found a "free" parking space in Dinkytown. I was pretty stoked about it because I didn't have to do any weird maneuvers to get my car into the spot. There was like 6" for the car behind me to use for exiting and I had a good 2 feet between my front bumper and the driveway. But apparently that wasn't enough for the PARKING NAZI. I got a freaking $24 parking ticket for being 3 ft. too close to a driveway...in DINKYTOWN! Who isn't too close to a driveway in Dinkytown?

So much for buying the book for this ELL class...oh, wait, I wasn't going to buy that anyway.

Lisa-

You law breaker, you. I couldn't tell you the number of tickets I would have for parking "too close" to a driveway...and I can definitely say that it was much less than two feet. Minneapolis requires that drivers are creative in parking, especially parallel parking near the University. The police should know that. Jerks.
