Happy New Year! Tim & I spent New Year's Eve with Pete & Jessy (Tim's brother & sister-in-law) as well as their two kids. We had a fantastic time. I found this crazy toy at Target earlier in the day, and that provided much entertainment! The toy was this squishy, green, hairy ball that had a flashing LED light on the inside. I can't even count how many times we threw that thing at one another. My 3-year old nephew started calling it the "booger ball." This leads me to the quote of the day:
"EWWW!!! BOOGERS!!!!" ~Ryan, 3-years
Before Ryan went to bed around 8:30, we had a little New Year's toast with him. None of us could think of something great to say, so Ryan piped up: "Just say 'thank you'." Crazy profound, huh? We spent the rest of the night rocking out on Guitar Hero III :)

Lisa- So I accidentally read the last half of this post first and I thought you were going with the "just say 'thank you'" your quote of the day. However I thought it much more fitting that you went with the booger ball: much more spiritual and symbolic.
